The Florida 8(a) Alliance 2020 Virtual Federal Contracting Conference, held June 23rd, was informative and designed to strengthen, train, educate, and promote small businesses.

Our event opened with challenging remarks given by Cassius Butts, CEO, 1st Choice Credit Union. And closing remarks were given by Ashley D. Bell, SBA Region IV Administrator.

The conference lineup included representatives from various governmental agencies and large businesses, sharing information and the process involved in doing business with them.

Keynote speaker, Rodney Bullard, Executive Director, Chick-fil-A Foundation shared both the impact and influence CFA upon him during his early childhood. Deputy District Director, Jonel Hein gave updates from the SBA and shared important information for the small business community.
